America at war: WW2
What is this website about?
This website is the result of a project called America at War by a group of High School Juniors in their American Studies class. America at War is an amazing, creative project where you are asked to look at and analyze a specific war, in this case World War 2. Through reading a war novel, researching all the events in the war and putting them in a Multimedia Timeline, dissecting the foreign policy used, analyzing war songs, and even making movie pilots for our selected war novels, we've discovered how war effects society, the individual, costs of far, and if war, at all, is beneficial. In addition, we've entered in a country-wide project to interview a war veteran and submit the material to the Library of Congress so that anyone can see a first-hand account of what war is like. We have the hopes that whoever may come across this website may use the research and knowledge we've collected as a source for schoolwork, research, or just finding information for information's sake.
